Outpatient Surgery Center

General surgeons on staff

You may get care from a general surgeon. This type of doctor specializes in surgically diagnosing and treating conditions that affect:

  • Abdominal organs, such as the appendix, esophagus, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, stomach, and small or large intestine
  • Breast tissue
  • Skin
  • Thyroid gland

Medicare bundled payment program

If you have Medicare, you may benefit from our participation in an initiative called the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) Advanced Model. Through this program, you may receive extra support and care coordination during your hospital stay and for up to 90 days after:

  • Hip or knee joint replacement
  • Certain hip or femur procedures

Ask for a referral

You’ll need a doctor’s referral for surgery at Montage Health. Talk to your primary care provider to learn more.

Cancel or reschedule

Contact your doctor and hospital staff as soon as possible if you:

  • Feel ill on the day of your procedure or have a fever or cold
  • Need to postpone or cancel your procedure for any other reason
